Composition about the war. Your Guide to Literature How to Write a War Introduction

transcript

1 Options for the introduction and conclusion to an essay about the war War ... Terrible, like death itself, the word. Even worse, if you remember that death for every person is a natural, inevitable end of life, and war is a terrible disaster caused by the evil will of people. Fifty years have passed since the thunders of the Great Patriotic War, and our people do not cease to mourn the loss. There is not a single family in our country from which the war did not take someone's life or crippled someone with bullets and shrapnel. It is impossible to forget this: the Great Patriotic War is the hardest test that befell the Russian people. This is the most tragic period in Russian history. It is in such difficult moments that the best human qualities are manifested. The fact that people were able to pass this test with honor, not to lose their dignity, to protect their homeland, their children - greatest feat. The ability to accomplish a feat is the most important quality of a real person. To accomplish it, you must first of all forget about yourself and think about others, forget about death and the fear of death, challenge nature by your renunciation of the thirst for life inherent in all living things. Therefore, one of the most important themes of our literature is the theme of the feat of man in war. Many writers themselves went through a difficult soldier's path, many of them witnessed a great tragedy and a great feat. The works of K. Simonov, V. Bykov, V. Nekrasov, B. Vasiliev, G. Baklanov and many other writers do not leave indifferent. Each writer tries in a different way to understand what allows a person to accomplish a feat, where the moral origins of this act are. Peaceful life ended in the early morning of June 22, 1941 .. Hundreds of aircraft bombed the city Soviet Union, dooming the civilian population to live in the hardships of wartime for four long years.. On June 22, 1941, the most cruel and bloody war in the history of mankind came to our land. In human memory, this day remained not just as a fatal date, but also as a milestone, the beginning of the long thousand four hundred and eighteen days and nights of the Great Patriotic War. Whether War ... Her disgusting face will never be erased from the memory of the people. Cold and ruthless eyes looked with the barrels of guns at the fighters going on the attack, with terrible bloody wounds at nurses, nurses, surgeons, looked at the exhausted hungry workers at the machines, bringing grief and death. Her rough hands snatched the victims from every house, every family. “War does not have a woman's face...” Yes, not a woman's face, but you will not envy the share of a woman during the war years. A woman, tender, beautiful, created by nature itself for love, to fulfill the great mission of a mother, a woman who combined “both wealth, and inspiration, and life, and tears, and love,” was forced to take up arms! Girls, yesterday's schoolgirls, on their fragile shoulders, among the explosions of shells, carried wounded soldiers out of the battle. The girls stood idle at the machines for days and did not straighten their backs on the collective farm fields. Could not, did not have the right "engineers human souls to pass by these events. All of our well-known writers touched upon the topic of war in their work, but the best of the created works belong to front-line writers who know firsthand about the war. The Great Patriotic War... It claimed millions of lives, turned into a tragedy for every third family. Yes, we wrested victory from the enemy! It is difficult to find any other word. It was we who wrested victory, it was given to us at a high price, at the cost of a whole

2 generations. What did those who, right from the school bench, fell into the thick of the battle, still very young and inexperienced, feel? I belong to that happy generation that did not see the war. We draw our basic knowledge about it from the books of V. Nekrasov, V. Grossman, G. Baklanov, V. Bykov, V. Astafiev, K. Simonov, Yu. Bondarev and others. Military literature is as diverse as the war itself. Every writer has their own approach. What attracts me most of all is the theme of “a woman in war”. We somehow got used to the fact that many women in the Great Patriotic War fought on an equal footing with men, and few people think how unnatural this was to nature itself! And what these girls did, you can’t call it otherwise than a feat. They say that the first victim in a war is the truth .... the howling people craved the truth, they needed it - in order to fight selflessly, one must realize the scale of the danger hanging over the country. The war began so terribly for us, on such an edge, two steps away from the abyss, we found ourselves that it was possible to get out only by facing the cruel truth in the eye, to the end of all the measure of our responsibility for the outcome of the war. The memory of the heart makes writers and readers return again and again to the theme of the feat of the people in the war. This theme is inexhaustible, immense; it is difficult to list everything that is written about the war. In my essay, I want first of all to tell about the feat of front-line writers. The feat of the Soviet people was also a feat of literature. Time moves inexorably forward, pushing further and further away the events of the years. These were the most severe years for our country, which ended with a great victory. But time has no power over memory, which transmits from generation to generation the moral essence of the feat accomplished by the Russian people in the name of saving mankind from fascism. I cannot fully feel the pain and suffering that befell the participants in that war, but I want to figure out what stood behind heroism, nourished it, was its soil. What allowed in the "fatal forties" not only to survive and win, but also to remain a man in this cruel struggle? Who were those to whom we owe our lives? First World War became the first world tragedy of the 20th century, it not only took the lives of millions of people, but left tens of millions crippled. Her tragedy lay in the fact that she destroyed the souls of an entire generation. Progressive writers were the first to sense the moral implications of war. In the work of Erich Maria Remarque, Ernest Hemingway, heroes are depicted who went through the war and came out of it physically intact, but the war remains in their souls for life. Remarque and Hemingway were direct participants in military events and during the war were on opposite sides of the front, but the characters they portray have a lot of common features. Perhaps this is because their personalities were formed under the influence of war, its horrors. Generations are growing up who have not heard the sounds of war. The history of mankind is full of wars. Was there at least one day when there was no war anywhere on the planet? Wars are interstate and civil, local and world, just and predatory. Even in the caves, people fought for food, for a woman. Later - for other prey, for precious stones, gold, for slaves. Then they fought for territories for the sake of minerals, world domination. Different times, different scales, different weapons (from a stone ax to an intercontinental missile) - but the essence remained. After all, either way

Otherwise, war is a disaster, regardless of whether it is liberation or predatory, because ordinary people suffer, mothers and widows cry, children grow up as orphans. War Wrote this word and was horrified. The current young generation is rethinking history, the history of the last war - the Great Patriotic War. And in the heart of the older generation, this word is an unhealed wound. These are dreams of a future profession cut off at the very beginning, waiting for a long and happy life. This is the last handshake, the last kiss, the last glance of the nearest, dearest person. The war burst into the heart of our people like a fragment. It eclipsed the sunny sky with the smoke of fires, became unbearable pain from the black funerals that came in thousands every day. How much blood has been shed! How many tears have been shed! Native land has become a continuous conflagration; the grass wept like dew, black trees fell, a groan spread out in a voiceless echo. One of the most significant milestones in the history of Russia in the first third of the 20th century, along with the Great October Revolution, was the Civil War. At the same time, she entered Russian literature, becoming main theme many works, in particular the novels The White Guard * by M. A. Bulgakov, Doctor Zhivago by B. L. Pasternak and a series of stories by I. E. Babel under the general title Cavalry. But the subject of the image of these writers was not a series of victories and defeats. What distinguishes their works from the impartial chronology of military operations is the approach to the presentation of historical events. It consists in the following: the war is presented as the history of people's lives. For Bulgakov, Pasternak and Babel, it is the person who comes to the fore, and the author's interest lies in the study of the influence that historical cataclysms have on him. War is the most terrible thing that can happen to a person, it destroys, destroys. It is especially inhuman if brothers, families, friends begin to quarrel. People fight for their ideas, protect interests, killing each other. In this war, everyone believes that he is right and the one who thinks differently in a second becomes an enemy. A person in such circumstances is both a speck of dust and a person. Literature reflected all the events that took place, penetrated as deeply as possible into what was happening in order to show the souls and experiences of those people, their lives. A person is something that cannot be predicted in a revolution, a change in the state of his soul, his thoughts cannot be planned and controlled, unlike a revolution - a disaster that brings changes to the life of anyone, this unpredictability attracts a writer to itself. The situation is complex, and creative people see it differently. Not a small number of authors turned to the topic of "a man in the fire of a civil war", where they showed both the thinking and actions of the crowd and the individual in particular. Already established personalities were described, but the formation of their new principles and thinking was more interesting. The face of war does not change even over the centuries, it is always pain, loss, cruelty and death. But some of the writers of the twentieth century saw in her not only a nightmare, they saw her as check - check firmness of principles and moral convictions of man. In a bloody terrifying battle, those traits are revealed that in ordinary life lurk somewhere deep in the soul. Cowardice and fear awaken in someone, heroism and fearlessness in someone. And this does not depend on the side that the author takes, red or white. The author in this case is just an outside observer. But it seems to me that the main feeling that people experience in the war is still fear. But each character in the stories behaves differently when experiencing fear. The Civil War in the Russian Empire, which swept it at the beginning of the last century, became one of the saddest moments in its history. Millions laid their heads

4 Russians, the war pushed masses of people in a bloody confrontation. These people were from different class levels, views on life, but they believed in one thing, and their history was the same. Military actions, especially between the parties of one people, are an unacceptable event, but the reason for these actions has always been, is and will be Man, his principles and needs. L. N. Tolstoy said that the desired result can be obtained by adding different people into one whole. A person is a small grain of sand in the whirlpool of war, but at the same time, it is an irreplaceable detail that affects the course of the war. Russian writers who depicted events in their works civil war and its consequences, created a series of human images. In the center of their stories was a man, his life was described, the influence of all events on it and the spiritual world of the hero, his moral quest. Every day we hear many times: "in the war", "about the war", "in the war". It's strange: we pass by our ears, we don't flinch, we don't even stop. Because no time? Or because, knowing "everything" about the war, we do not know only one thing - what is it? But war is, first of all, death. Not death in general, but the death of a specific person. You need to stop and think: the same person as me. And I'm always in a hurry, I have no time. But still, lately, more and more often I go with a bouquet of wild flowers to the Eternal Flame. For me, in his awe - the recognition of the living dead. The names of the fallen are illuminated by the light of human sorrow. The war took millions of lives. There was no family that did not lose a father or son, mother, brother, sister, daughter. There was no house that grief would not touch The modest greatness of a Russian person What is behind this line? Let's take a look at ancient times. Our glorious ancestors stopped the Tatar-Mongolian horde near the borders of Europe, liberated Europe from the rule of Napoleon, defeated the fascist armies and saved the peoples from enslavement. These are the lessons of history. What is the source of the exploits of the people? Selfless love for the Motherland - that is the strength of the Russian character. The decayed pages of legends, the bloody lines of novels and stories, the lines of poetry shot through by a bullet will tell us and our children about the national feat. Thousands of people went through the crucible of war, experienced terrible torment, but they survived and won. We won the most difficult of all wars that mankind has endured so far. And those people who defended their homeland in the hardest battles are still alive. The war in their memory emerges as the most terrible sad memory. But it also reminds them of perseverance, courage, friendship and loyalty. Many writers have gone through this terrible war. Many of them died, were seriously injured, many survived in the fire of trials. That is why they still write about the war, that is why they talk again and again about what became not only their personal pain, but also the tragedy of the whole generation. They simply cannot leave this life without warning people about the danger that comes from forgetting the lessons of the past. The Victory Day is dear to the heart of each of us. Dear memory of those who defended freedom at the cost of their lives. We must always remember the people who gave their lives for the freedom and bright future of our country. The feat of those who fought and defeated fascism is immortal. The memory of their feat will live forever in our hearts and our literature. We must know at what cost our happiness has been won. To know and remember those almost completely girls from Boris Vasiliev's story "The Dawns Here Are Quiet", who boldly looked death in the eyes, defending their Motherland. Is it possible for them, so fragile, delicate, to wear men's boots or hold machine guns in their hands? Of course not. The Great Patriotic War, which received a multifaceted reflection in the literature of the 1990s, will forever remain in the memory of people as a great school of courage and heroism.

5 The concept of man, as it is affirmed by Soviet literature, is most convincingly revealed in works about the Great Patriotic War. Military situations, full of special drama, with their "ultimate" sharpness of moral choice, where a person finds himself "to the bottom" in good and evil, courage and fear, spiritual rise and moral decline, allow writers to discover the main thing in their hero, to identify ideological and moral foundations of his personality. “Yes, you can survive in the heat, in a thunderstorm, in frost. Yes, you can go hungry. Go to death But these three birches cannot be given to anyone in life. K. Simonov. Nobody likes war. But for thousands of years, people have suffered and died, killed others, burned and broken. To conquer, to take possession, to exterminate, to seize - all this was born in greedy minds, both in the depths of centuries and in our days. One force collided with another. Some attacked and robbed, others defended and tried to save, and during this confrontation, everyone had to show everything they were capable of. There are enough examples of heroism, courage, fortitude and bravery in Russian history. This is the invasion of the Tatar-Mongols, when the Russians had, without sparing themselves, to fight for every piece of their native land, when their army of many millions was forced to take for weeks the cities defended by one or two hundred heroes. Or during the invasion of Napoleon, beautifully described by Tolstoy in War and Peace, we meet the boundless strength, courage and unity of the Russian people.

6 EXAMPLES OF ESSAYS Moral choice in war (based on one work) There are several topics that made me think. Think about what I would (would like) to write about. And understanding the significance of each proposed topic, I nevertheless decided (decided) to deal with the issue of moral choice for myself. (Or: my choice was predetermined by the stories in our family about the heroic youth of my great-grandfather, After all, in any everyday situation there are several paths and here we have the right to choose any. Moral choice is another matter, Why does a person make this or that choice? (Or: I wanted to get closer to understand my great-grandfather and his generation, Or: I wanted to figure it out, but could I To understand this, I want to turn to B. Vasiliev’s novel “I wasn’t on the lists” (Or: To V. Bykov’s story “Sotnikov”). "War is a cruel test for any person. But it is under these conditions that a person is tested for strength, readiness for self-sacrifice. Why did the author give his novel such a name? This is the first and very important question that we must put before ourselves. This is how his path to immortality. Nikolai made his choice and did not deviate from this path. It is characteristic that at the beginning of the "peaceful part" of the novel, Boris Lvovich War! Rumble, shooting. Life was divided into "before and after". In the first battle, Nikolai chickened out. And all the more valuable, in my opinion, the final pages of the novel, where the author shows the unbroken, proud defender of the Brest Fortress, who did not bow in the face of death. Why is the author on the last pages? main character novel, Nikolai Pluzhnikov, made his choice We, my generation, are almost the same age as the hero who entered the battle. And I hope that (Or: Let the awards stored in our family, Moral choices in war (based on two works) Here are a few topics that made me think. Think about what I would like (would like) to write And understanding the significance of each proposed topic, I nevertheless decided (decided) to deal with the issue of moral choice for myself.(Or: my choice was predetermined by stories in our family about the heroic youth of my great-grandfather, his front-line exploits. After all, he was so old, After all, in any everyday situation there are several ways and here we have the right to choose any. Another thing is a moral choice, Why does a person make this or that choice? (Or: I wanted to understand my great-grandfather and his generation better, Or: I wanted to figure it out, but could I To understand this, I want to turn to B. Vasilyev’s novel “He Wasn’t on the Lists” and V. Bykov’s story “Sotnikov.” Firstly, some honestly do their duty, like Lieutenant Pluzhnikov and partisan Sotnikov, and others, Heroes of works Pluzhnikov and Sotnikov, traitors Fedorchuk and Rybak are completely different people. And in my essay, I want to understand in what ways some came to immortality, while others became Judas. War is a cruel test for any person. Thus began the path of some to immortality, and others to shame. Nikolai Pluzhnikov and partisan Sotnikov

7 What is the similarity of the situation in which each of them accomplished his feat? The authors answered this question for us with their works. But Pluzhnikov and Sotnikov did not seek fame, did not seek awards, and the wounded, sick Sotnikov found himself in the last minutes of his life And in conclusion I want to say, (Or: I began to better understand my peers of that wartime, Or: I began to better understand the price the feat of my great-grandfather, who defended my right to life with weapons in his hands) that the main characters of the novel, Nikolai Pluzhnikov and the partisan Sotnikov, remained people in the most inhuman conditions, knowing that (Or: Let the awards stored in our family remind us of War and human destinies (based on two works) There are several topics in front of me that made me think about what I would like (would like) to write about. how war affects human destinies. The bloody meat grinder of war made many people Many literary works are devoted to the Great Patriotic War.And everywhere the heroes are ordinary ordinary people whose lives were changed by the war. Broke their human destinies. And I would like to turn to the novel “I wasn’t on the lists” and the story “The Dawns Here Are Quiet”, in which B. Vasilyev,. Young summer girls from the story “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” went to the front to take revenge on the fascist beasts for the shattered dreams, the families destroyed by the war and the death of relatives and friends. The author in his work shows not only the battle in which the girls “hold their front, their Russia” on the Sinyukhin Ridge, unknown to anyone, but also having entered into a fight with a superior enemy, they died. Mercilessly, the war broke the fate of Mirra and Nikolai Pluzhnikov, from the novel “Not on the lists”. Dreams of Millions of people lost their homes, families, loved ones in this war. Boris Lvovich Vasiliev described all the horrors of the war with all frankness. In his works, he showed that the lessons of history pass by the consciousness of politicians.

Long forgotten war!

War is stupid and pointless from the very beginning.

It does not lead to victory - it sows grief and hatred.

Lady Fiona

The Great Patriotic WarIt's grief and tears. She knocked on every house, brought misfortune: mothers lost their sons, wives lost their husbands, children were left without fathers. Thousands of people went through the crucible of war, experienced terrible torment, but they survived and won. We won the most difficult of all wars that mankind has endured so far. And those people who defended our Motherland in the hardest battles are still alive. The war in their memory emerges as the most terrible sad memory. But it also reminds them of steadfastness, courage, unbroken spirit, friendship and fidelity.

I read about many writers who went through this terrible war. Many of them died, many were seriously injured, many survived the fire of trials. That is why they still write about the war, that is why they talk again and again about what became not only their personal pain, but also the tragedy of the whole generation. They simply cannot leave this life without warning people about the danger that comes from forgetting the lessons of the past.

The poet Gleb Pagirev in his poem clearly describes the feelings of those who went to the front. “I remember that before the war I studied at the workers' faculty: simple trousers, a khaki shirt ... The military suffering was still at the beginning, and we were finishing our last year just then.”

The people of those times who are still alive will never forget the horrors of these terrible wars, and the dead will forever remain heroes in our hearts. And how many lives was this victory worth?! Many, very many.I'm sure everyone knows this feeling. It arises when everything is over ... irrevocably, as if it never began. Pain, so much pain that you can drown in it, even if you divide it into all the people on Earth. From hopelessness, the heart begins to stubbornly whine, once again confirming the hopelessness of the situation. As in childhood, when you read an interesting book or accidentally break your favorite toy. A feeling of emptiness....It hurts so much. The most intense pain is the pain of irreversible loss. When tears are already dripping on cold palms, and you still can’t realize that it’s all over.

We won. But what is the use of this if all relatives and loved ones died fighting to the end for this Victory. The country came to victory on its last breath, devastated, depopulated - entire generations were almost completely mowed down. Terrible gaps were conspicuous wherever you looked. Thousands of villages were burned to the ground, hundreds of citiesturned into ruins. Great - really great, which determined the fate of the country and the world - the victory was unbearably bitter.

Let our memory and experience teach us kindness, peacefulness, humanity. And let none of us forget who and how fought for our freedom and happiness. We are indebted to you, old man! We remember every soldier who did not return from the war, we remember at what cost he won the victory. He preserved for me and millions of my compatriots the language, culture, customs, traditions and faith of my ancestors.

"War - there is no more cruel word..."

The worst thing in human history is war! Fortunately, I only know about the war from books, films and stories of people who survived this terrible tragedy...

This year, in connection with the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, our school is hosting “Lessons of Courage”, where we visit people directly related to that terrible time. Of course, in history lessons we learn a lot about the war. But I got the most “living” idea of the war when I heard the life story of Zoya Yakovlevna Lashkova.

Listening to her story, I touched the edge of my soul to the horror that people experienced on a warm summer morning when they heard about the attack of the Nazis; to the fear that the children experienced; to the pain experienced by the wounded people...

These were the most terrible half an hour of my life, and Zoya Yakovlevna had almost 5 years ...

As many as 5 years of fear, horror and pain!

During her story, I felt anger and hatred towards the enemies who mercilessly killed soldiers, women, old people and children!!!

The bitterness of the loss also touched Zoya Yakovlevna... She lost the most important thing in her life - her parents! I can't imagine how it is possible to be completely alone at the age of 13 - without parents!

After the Nazis occupied the territory of the Smolensk region, all men's work fell on the fragile women's and children's shoulders. They had to work in the field from morning to night. I thought that it was impossible to plow a huge field without male help, but Zoya Yakovlevna said: “When you are on the verge of life and death, you can do much more than you think ...”

Zoya Yakovlevna told us a lot about that difficult time. But with special pride she spoke of friendship and mutual assistance during the war years. The main motto of their generation: "One for all - and all for one." They helped not only each other, but also tried to help the soldiers in every way. Although they themselves had nothing to eat, they gave the last piece of bread to the partisans, and they themselves most often ate what they had to ...

Throughout the story, Zoya Yakovlevna excitedly fiddled with the tip of the handkerchief in her hands ... her voice trembled ... her lips trembled ...

Her greatest wish is that there will never be a war on Earth! Because it's unnatural! People shouldn't kill people! "War is crueler there is no word!" - said our countryman A.T. Tvardovsky.
Almost 70 years have passed since the Great Victory, and very few people remain who know firsthand about this war. We must do everything possible so that our generation knows as much as possible about the terrible years of the war and so that we never forget those thanks to whom we live and enjoy life!!!

War...

One English sociologist said: "War is a disaster on an enlarged scale." Magnified hundreds, thousands of times! An incredible number of dead, innocent people. Crippled destinies, broken lives... This misfortune burst into every family of our Motherland. And our family too!

My great-grandfather on my father's side was called Antropov Alexey Demyanovich. He participated in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. It would seem that a severe injury and, as a result, an operation to remove three ribs, could break my great-grandfather (at that time a young man) at the very beginning of his journey ... But he did it!

And then - another "wound". And no physical wound, no matter how severe, can be compared with the mental wound that remained with him forever. In the village of Berdyaevo, Dukhovshchinsky district, the Germans took my great-grandfather's father out of the house and shot him right in front of his eyes .... What could be worse: your own death or the death of your loved one? I think then my great-grandfather would like to be in his father's place, protect him, not give him into the hands of enemies, but, unfortunately, nothing could be done ....

Great-grandfather survived that terrible war and lived for 82 years. By the time I was born, my great-grandfather was gone and, unfortunately, I never saw him. I learned about him from the stories of my grandmother.

I want to say that it is very important to know and remember your relatives. I proudly call my great-grandfather a Hero! And I clearly understand that it is thanks to him that I live on this earth. I will definitely tell my children about our great-grandfather. About the fact that there were such people - brave, strong and fearless, who went to death for the sake of life.

I am happy that I already live in a new world, a world without war. And I know that this world was created by people who fought to the last drop of blood. I urge to remember and honor those people thanks to whom we live. After all, life is a priceless gift and we should appreciate it.

"Don't repeat the mistakes of the past!"

Everything breathed such silence,
That the whole earth was still asleep, it seemed.

Who knew that between peace and war

There are only five minutes left.

S.P.Schipachev.

War is a huge spiritual wound in human hearts and the most difficult test for the whole people. But the most defenseless and vulnerable at this time are children.

They saw the stern face of the war, looked into her cold ruthless eyes, and she bound their still young and fragile souls with a steel vice, injuring and crippling. My grandmother, Balaeva Anna Dmitrievna, she did not bypass and inflicted a wound that for a long time lay in her heart:

“When the war began, I was fourteen years old, and I lived with my family (mother, father, brother and grandfather) in the city of Rzhev. The city, as usual, was seething with life, people went about their business, but did not suspect that trouble was already close ... In the summer of 1941, the Nazi invaders invaded the territory of the Soviet Union. The Great Patriotic War began. All the men, including my father, were taken to the front, from where many later did not return to their families. Chaos reigned in our city. Many in a hurry left their homes, took the most necessary things and left, trying to escape from a terrible fate. Others stayed in the city because they had nowhere to go. Provision was very bad. When the siege of the city began, Jewish families were shot on the spot, and the rest of the women, children and old people were taken prisoner and taken to Western Poland to concentration camps. When we were brought to the camp, I lost a loved one. One German (he was fat, angry and ugly) did not like that my grandfather was limping and thus holding up a column of prisoners, and therefore he shot him in cold blood. This horrifying picture still stands before my eyes. We lived in the camp for two long years. They rarely fed us, mostly with leftovers from the tables (they treated us like animals). One day the Germans were very alarmed by something and were gathering their things. A commotion began and the prisoners, taking advantage of this moment, began to run away into the forest. We also ran. The Germans, noticing this, began to shoot in a panic. Three of them chased after us, shouting something and shooting, and we ran on and on. After a while we came across a detachment of partisans who saved us. We learned from them that the Germans began to give up their positions, that an operation had begun to liberate the country from fascism ...

The war is over, we won. After that we returned to our hometown. It was destroyed, corpses lay on the streets, there were broken equipment. All this was reminiscent of the events in which we found ourselves when the city was captured by the Nazis.

I will never forget this war! Eternal fear and pain when you hang by a thread from death... War takes loved ones and makes everyone unhappy. Remember: never repeat the mistakes of the past!

I heard this story many times from my great-grandmother. And every time I experienced fear, horror, pain with her. We must not forget about the war, we must know at what cost our happiness was won, we must try so that not a single name is forgotten. And as a testament of people who survived this terrible war: you need to maintain peace - the most precious thing on earth!

We, the younger generation, must do everything to ensure that the horrors of this war never happen again! As long as we follow this, the link between generations will be alive. So, Russia itself is alive!

The war is long gone from us.

Veterans became gray-haired.

And the forty-fifth spring

Until now heals your wounds.

You defended the world in battles

With an enemy cruel and insidious.

And forever in human hearts

Your feat will be legendary.

And how many springs will not pass -

One we will remember sacredly.

The spring that the people

Great made in forty-five!

Who will survive the pain of war

He will understand the price of blood.
He will shout with a howl: "No war!".

Let there be PEACE on the whole Earth!!!

My great-grandfather Paulyuchenko Pyotr Porfiryevich was born in 1925. He went to war when he was 18 years old. Fought in artillery reconnaissance of the 16th Lithuanian division. When the Motherland was liberated, he reached the city of Berlin. For his military merits he has seven medals and one order.

Great-grandfather died in 2013, and now we carefully store his military awards. His stories about the terrible power of war and its cruelty will forever remain in our memory!

"We will always keep in our hearts

The memory of the fallen! To them - eternal glory!

War - there is no crueler word.

War - there is no sadder word.

War - there is no holier word

In the anguish and glory of these years.

A.T. Tvardovsky.

War is the worst thing that can happen to humanity. It mercilessly destroys everything in its path. The Great Patriotic War destroyed many destinies, brought many tears and sorrows. Many decades have already passed, and time is taking us farther and farther away from this terrible tragedy. But we must keep the memory of those who gave their lives for our happy childhood!

This terrible war affected every family. My great-grandfather Alexander Ivanovich Kirilenkov, born in 1910, fought in our family. He went to the front in the first days of the war and went through all its terrible trials with his comrades. This was his second war. And the first is the war with Japan. How did fate save him from death? My great-grandfather had many orders and medals. And even the Order of the Red Star!!! There is a photograph of him in our school Museum of Military Glory!

Unfortunately, in 1973 my great-grandfather died. In recent years, he was seriously ill - old wounds made themselves felt ... I am proud of my great-grandfather!!!

My other great-grandfather, Aleksey Starchenkov, is buried here in Gusino, in a mass grave, where every year my classmates and I lay flowers. Even though I don't know much about him and have never even seen a picture of him, I'm proud of him too!

I will always remember my great-grandfathers, their difficult destinies, that they honestly fulfilled their duty to the Motherland!

Thanks to all veterans for peace on earth!

This terrible, merciless, harsh time should never be repeated NEVER!!!

We cannot list their noble names here.

So there are many of them under the eternal protection of granite.

But know, listening to these stones,

Nobody is forgotten and nothing is forgotten.

O. F. Bergholz

War is fear, horror, suffering, grief! The Great Patriotic War was on. Fascist hordes were advancing, people stood like rocks! And life conquered death!

My great-grandfather, Vasily Ivanovich Zhavoronkov, was a participant in the Great Patriotic War. He was born on March 15, 1924 in the village of Malaya Dobraya, Krasninsky District. During the war he was a senior regimental machine gunner. For two years my great-grandfather was in the blockade of Leningrad. And I saw all the horrors of the blockade, which we learn about from history books.

In the battles for the Soviet Motherland in 1942, he received a severe spinal wound, and was in the Siberian hospital.

He was awarded the medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The medal was awarded on August 23, 1946.

I want there to never be war on earth! Peace - yes!!! War - no!

Senchonkova Daria, 5 "A" class.

War... How much pain, bitterness, loneliness and death this word carries! I think that war is the same age as humanity, and at all times and epochs people have felt the cold breath of war behind them. This malicious all-devouring and destructive force brings with it a lot of grief, suffering and spiritual emptiness.

Death corrected death. Boris Lvovich Vasiliev is a participant in the war, an eyewitness to a terrible and heroic time, so his works do not leave readers indifferent. The story "He was not on the lists" is one of the best in the writer's work. She tells about the very first and dramatic months of the war, but at the same time about the heroic time, which highlighted the best features of the Soviet man: steadfastness, patriotism, fidelity to duty, the desire to serve the Motherland to the last.

The Great Patriotic War, which received a multifaceted reflection in the literature of the 1950s and 1970s, will forever remain in the memory of people as a great school of courage and heroism. The concept of man, as it is affirmed by literature, is most convincingly revealed in works about the Great Patriotic War.

Together with spring, the long-awaited Victory came to the long-suffering land. The fighters of the Great Patriotic War greeted her with tears of joy, and we, their descendants, also celebrate this day. It's scary to imagine how much each soldier had to endure. Now more and more often the words are heard that we must consider the heroes of all those who fought. And they themselves, the participants in those events, are more restrained in assessing their actions.

Many years have passed since that day - the first day of the Great Patriotic War. And no one can ever forget him. After all, the memory of the war has become a moral memory, once again returning to the heroism and courage of the soldiers. It is the memory that does not allow one to fall below the moral mark that marked the bitter and heroic years, continues to live sacredly and relentlessly in the heart of every person.

Cool! 63

War is the worst thing that can happen in the life of every person. The sudden attack of Nazi Germany on ordinary Soviet people. But nothing can break the strong-willed people, they have only Victory ahead!

War - how much in this word. Just one word carries a lot of fear, pain, screams and crying of mothers, children, wives, the loss of loved ones and thousands of glorious soldiers who stood for the life of all generations ... How many children she left as orphans, and widows with black headscarves on their heads. How many terrible memories she left behind in human memory. War is the pain of human destinies, caused by those who rule at the top and crave power in any way, even bloody.

And if you think about it well, then even in our time there is not a single family from whom the war did not take or simply did not crippled with bullets, shrapnel or just their echoes of a person close to us. After all, we all remember and honor the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. We remember their feat, solidarity, faith in a great victory and a loud Russian “Hurrah!”.

The Great Patriotic War can rightfully be called sacred. After all, all people stood up to defend their homeland, not being afraid of a stray bullet, torment, captivity and much more. Our ancestors rallied so much and went forward to recapture their land from the enemy, on which they were born and raised.

The Soviet people were not broken even by the suddenness of the attack on June 22, 1941, the German fascists attacked in the early morning. Hitler counted on a quick victory, as in many European countries, who surrendered and submitted to him with little or no resistance.

Our people did not have any weapons, but this did not frighten anyone and they marched confidently forward, not giving up their positions, defending their loved ones and the Motherland. The road to victory ran through many obstacles. Militant battles developed both on earth and in the sky. There was not a single person who would not contribute to this Victory. Young girls who served as doctors and dragged wounded soldiers from the battlefield on themselves, how much strength and courage they had. How much faith they carried with them, giving it to the wounded! The men went boldly into battle, covering with their backs those who were in the rear, their homes and families! Children and women worked at the factories at the machines, producing ammunition that brought cherished success in capable hands!

And now, in spite of everything, that moment has come, the moment of the long-awaited victory. The army of Soviet soldiers, after many years of battles, was able to drive the Nazis out of their native land. Our heroes-soldiers reached the borders of Germany, and stormed Berlin, the capital of the fascist country. All this happened in 1945. On the 8th of May, Germany signed a complete surrender. It was at that very time that our ancestors gave us one of the great holidays celebrated on May 9 - this is Victory Day! A day truly with tears in your eyes, great joy in your soul and with a sincere smile on your face!

Remembering the stories of grandfathers, grandmothers and people who participated in these hostilities, we can conclude that only a people strong in spirit, brave and ready to go to the death, could come to victory!

For the younger generation, the Great Patriotic War is just a story from the distant past. But this story excites everything inside and makes you think about what is happening in the modern world. Think about the wars that we see now. Think about the fact that we must not allow another war and prove to the heroic soldiers that it was not in vain that they fell into the ground, that it was not in vain that the soil was soaked with their blood! I want everyone to remember the cost of this not easy Victory and the peace that we now have over our heads!

And in conclusion, I really want to say: “Thank you, Great Warriors! I remember! I'm proud!"

More essays on the topic: "War"

How I wish all children on Earth knew what war is, only from the pages of history books. I sincerely hope that someday my wish will come true. But for now, unfortunately, the wars on our planet continue.

I will probably never understand how those who unleash these wars feel. Do they really not think that the price of any war is human lives. And it doesn’t matter which side won: they are both, in fact, the losers, because you can’t return those who died in the war.

War means losses. In the war, people lose loved ones, the war takes away their home, deprives them of everything. Those who have not been affected by the war, I think, will never fully realize how terrible it is. It’s hard for me to even imagine how terrible it is to go to bed, realizing that in the morning you can find out that one of your loved ones is no more. It seems to me that the fear of losing a loved one is much stronger than the fear for one's own life.

And how many people war forever takes away health? Of how many makes disabled? And no one and nothing will return them their youth, health, crippled destinies. It's so scary - to lose your health forever, to lose all hopes at once, to realize that your dreams and plans are not destined to come true.

But the worst thing is that the war leaves no one with a choice: to fight or not - the state decides for its citizens. And it doesn't matter if the residents support this decision or not. War affects everyone. Many are trying to escape from the war. But is running painless? People have to leave their homes, leave their homes, not knowing if they will ever be able to return to their former lives.

I am convinced that any conflicts should be resolved peacefully, without sacrificing human destinies to war.

For a person has great importance whether there is meaning in his life. Every person wants to be the best they can be. But the personality manifests itself most clearly in crisis situations, for example, such as natural disasters or wars.

War is a terrible time. She constantly tests a person for strength, requires full dedication of strength. If you are a coward, if you are not capable of patient and selfless work, if you are not ready to sacrifice your comfort or even your life for the sake of a common cause, then you are worthless.

Our country has often been forced to fight. The most terrible wars that have fallen to the lot of ancestors are civil. They demanded the most difficult choice, sometimes they completely broke the system of values that had developed in a person, since it was often not clear with whom and for what to fight.

The so-called patriotic wars are the defense of the country from external attack. Everything is clear here - there is an enemy that threatens everyone, ready to become the master of the land of your ancestors, dictate its own rules on it, and make you a slave. At such moments, our people have always demonstrated rare unanimity and ordinary, everyday heroism, manifested in any trifle, be it a fierce battle or duty in a medical battalion, exhausting foot crossings or digging trenches.

Every time the enemy wanted to defeat Russia, he had the illusion that the people were dissatisfied with their government, that the enemy troops would be greeted with joy (both Napoleon and Hitler, most likely, were convinced of this and counted on an easy victory). The stubborn resistance that the people offered them should have surprised them at first, and then terribly enraged them. They didn't count on him. But our people have never been completely slaves. They felt that they were part of their native land and could not give it to strangers for desecration. Everyone became heroes - both men - fighters, and women, and children. Everyone contributed to the common cause, everyone participated in the war, everyone together defended the Motherland.

72 years have passed since the day when the whole world heard the long-awaited word "Victory!"

May 9th. Good ninth day of May. At this time, when all nature comes to life, we feel how beautiful life is. How dear she is to us! And along with this feeling comes the understanding that we owe our lives to all those who fought, died and survived in those hellish conditions. Those who, not sparing themselves, worked in the rear, those who died during the bombing of cities and villages, those whose lives were painfully cut short in fascist concentration camps.

On Victory Day, we will gather at the eternal flame, lay flowers, and remember who makes us live. Let's keep quiet and once again say "Thank you!" to them. Thank you for our peaceful life! And in the eyes of those whose wrinkles keep the horrors of war, remember fragments and wounds, the question is read: “Will you keep what we shed blood for in those terrible years, will you remember the real price of Victory?”

Our generation has less opportunity to see live combatants, to hear their stories about that difficult time. That is why meetings with veterans are so dear to me. When you, heroes of the war, remember how you defended and defended your Motherland, your every word is imprinted in my heart. In order to pass on to the next generation what they heard, to preserve the grateful memory of the great feat of the victorious people, so that no matter how many years have passed since the end of the war, they remember and honor those who won the world for us.

We have no right to forget the horrors of this war so that they do not happen again. We have no right to forget those soldiers who died so that we can live now. We must remember everything ... I see my duty to the eternally living soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, to you, veterans, to the blessed memory of the fallen, in living my life honestly and with dignity, in order to strengthen the power of the Motherland with our deeds.
